Cervical Disc Herniation

Cervical disc hernia is a condition that occurs as a result of damage to the spinal discs. It causes pressure on the nerves by leaking the contents of the disc outwards. Aging, trauma, poor posture, excessive lifting and prolonged desk work are the main causes. Pain in the neck, back, arms and shoulders, numbness in the arms and loss of strength are among the symptoms.

WHY ROMMER?

If your doctor deems it necessary, manual therapy applications, electrotherapy agents, kinesiotape taping, regular exercises, correct posture techniques and neck collar are used to prevent the progression of the hernia.

Anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxants, painkillers; epidural steroid injection, spinal injections, nerve blockages may be required in persistent pain.
